Hey, thanks for stopping by my blog. My name is Jason and I am a Bajan (slang for Barbadian). I was born in Barbados and I’ve lived on this beautiful island in the Caribbean for most of my life. I grew up on the west coast of the island where I spent many childhood days riding my bicycle around the neighbor hood and going to the beach at every chance I got. I used to live 5 minutes walk to the beach! How great is that! I spent a lot of time in the water and from a very early age, I believe I was about 4 years old, my father taught me to water ski.
I was very fortunate to have had this opportunity to learn to water ski. It set the foundation for my life as being an outdoors and beachy (is that a word?) person, anyway, you get what I mean. From there, I fell in love with surfing at the age of 11 and still do it to this day. I also started paddle boarding and paddle surfing and now my latest passion is, kitesurfing. That’s what landed me here to make this blog.
